PROJECT – D-B Renovation PWD Supply Facility BLDG 1118 (R07-21), MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, CA
Scope of Work: The project involves renovation of Building 1118 located at Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command/Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MAGTFTC/MCAGCC). Lead testing shall be performed by the contractor prior to commencing work. A copy of the test result shall be submitted to the Government team.

AMENDMENT 02 issued April 21st incorporates new Part 3 and Part 4 to the RFP so be sure to review all amendments.
The contractor shall minimize the interruption of the daily business operations during the construction. Thorough coordination between the government and the contractor shall be required during the construction whenever full evacuation of the facility and the projected length of evacuation is necessary.
The building modular offices towards the south end of the building will be occupied during the construction. The materials and supplies store inside the warehouse shall be moved and stored towards the walls. All shelving secured and mounted on the floor shall remain in place. All equipment (HVAC units, etc.) stored outside of the building shall be moved.
Demolition of all existing exterior man doors (total: 4) and provide four (4) new man doors.
Demolition of all existing sliding doors (total: 4) and provide two (2) exterior roll-up doors.
Demolition of all evaporative cooling (EC) units (total: 4) and gas radiant heaters serving the warehouse area including water, gas and electrical connection to the source. Provide ground-mounted EC unit with gas furnace including ducting to serve warehouse area. Demolish existing exhaust fans and roof ventilation and provide new exhaust fan(s) based on new HVAC design.
Repair / upgrade the facility structure including existing roof and exterior wall and prep for installation of spray foam (SPF) insulation.
Demolish and upgrade the facility electrical system to accommodate the existing and future demands and requirements. Replace the existing transformer and feeder connection to accommodate the future requirements. Requirements and information for future electrical equipment associated with future project shall be provided by the government.
As a reference, refer to the attached existing condition floor plan in Part 6 for the demolition and new construction scope of work. Part 6 also include references for specifications and requirements associated with the facility renovation.

****Please note: IEP may require payment and performance bonds on technical scopes of work on large dollar value contracts. Bond must be provided on bond forms from IEP. IEP will only pay for the portion of sub-bond cost that does not exceed 2% of the subcontract value. Anything in excess of 2% of the subcontract value will be the responsibility of the subcontractor.
