PROJECT – ACQR 5915547 D-B Arc Flash Safety Improvements, Everett, Smokey Point and Jim Creek, WA

 

Scope of Work: This project shall replace electrical distribution equipment and devices at Naval Station (NS) Everett, Navy Support Complex (NSC) Smokey Point and Navy Radio Station (NRS) Jim Creek.

Remove existing and provide new electrical equipment/devices and update power system coordination, as identified in Section 6 Engineering Systems Requirements (ESR). 

This project shall be planned and executed to mitigate whole or partial loss to affected building and/or facilities and minimum impact to government operations at NS Everett, Smokey Point and Jim Creek. To accomplish this, Contractor shall coordinate building/facility and utility outages per Part 2 requirements. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment (to include all incidental work) to meet all project objectives and subsequent requirements stated herein this Request for Proposal (RFP).

 

Magnitude of the Construction Contract: $1M-$5M

****Please note:  IEP may require payment and performance bonds on technical scopes of work on large dollar value contracts.  Bond must be provided on bond forms from IEP.  IEP will only pay for the portion of sub-bond cost that does not exceed 2% of the subcontract value.  Anything in excess of 2% of the subcontract value will be the responsibility of the subcontractor.
