Scope of Work: Building PM 373 will require demolition of the existing structure, renovation, repair and modernization to accommodate administration and laboratory space requirements for NAVAIR. The entire structure shall be demolished, leaving the pre-engineered structural skeleton to remain. The renovation, approximately 12,000 gross square feet, will include break room, test lab, offices, VTC Rooms, IT lab, discussion room, terminal room and support spaces as shown on the conceptual plans. The project will require new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and telecommunications.

Base Item 0001: D/B Renovation and remodeling of building PM-373

Option Item 0001: Remove 12” topping slab on side “B” and add 12” high, heavy‐duty access floor on side “B”. the 12 in topping slab shall remain in the non‐classified areas. (see attached Architectural narrative in part 6 of this RFP which includes an architectural sketch of building footprint).

Option Item 0002: In paragraph 4.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 in the Architectural Narrative (included in part 6 of this RFP) , remove wall Type “A” and replace with wall Type “C”. RF Ultra Radiant Scrim shall be located between the layer of plywood and GWB on all security boundary walls and all walls scheduled for ICD‐705, V1.5 compliance.
