Scope of Work: The work includes essential repairs of the following and incidental related work:
· Replacement of the cast iron soil, waste, and vent piping throughout the building. Provide new ABS pipe and fittings above and below grade with im the building. this includes all laundry room waste piping.
· Replace all sewer piping from the building to the street main.
· Replace all existing plumbing fixture with new fixtures throughout the building.
· Replace all floor mounted fan coil units in the berthing rooms with ceiling mounted fan coil units. Provide trim kits and valve kits for each unit. Provide outside air to each fan coil unit.
· Replace all common area air handling units and provide new units in same location. Connect to existing ducting.
· Replace all bathroom cabinets with new cabinets and solid surface countertops integral lavatories. Provide new facets at lavatories.
· Replace shower surround, Shower pans, mixing valves and shower head with all new solid surface shower surround, pre-cast terrazzo shower basin, new mixing valve and shower head.
· Replace all exhaust fans in Laundry rooms and common area restroom and provide new exhaust fans.
· Replace DDC controls for the new fan coil units and air handling units. Provide new front end for future control of chiller and heating plant.
· Provide new utility meter for the building.
· Replacing floor with durable surfaces as directed.
· Painting and patching of existing walls in the common building.
· Replace existing kitchen cabinets sink and range hood. Provide new stainless steel counter and sink and new vent hood.
· Replace interior lighting with LED fixtures.
· Modify windows in barracks to be fixed shut.
· Replace telecom (fiber & copper ) infrastructure to be used for cable service or internet access.
· Provide Electronic locks with similar functions like a KABA electronic lock 790 series with Schlage C,D, or F Key using 6 pin cylinders, for door hardware replacement at barracks room entrance.
BID OPTION 1: AT ALL BARRACKS SUITES LIVING AREAS AND CLOSET AREAS - PREP AND PATCH ALL EXISTING GYPSUM BOARD WALLS AND CEILING TO CREATE A CONTINUOUS, SMOOTH EVEN SURFACE. FILL AND PATCH ALL HOLES IN OF WALLS TO CREATE A SMOOTH CONTINUOUS SURFACE, MATCH EXISTING CONSTRUCTION. PAINT ALL EXPOSED GYPSUM BOARD WALLS AND CEILING SURFACES.
BID OPTION 2: AT ALL BARRACKS SUITES- DEMO EXISTING VCT FLOORING SYSTEM IN THE LIVING AREA AND CLOSETS AND PREP FLOOR TO RECEIVE NEW EPOXY FLOORING. PROVIDE EPOXY FLOORING SYSTEM AND 4" BASE.
AT BARRACK ROOM RESTROOM AREA DEMO EXISTING TILE FLOOR SYSTEM AND BASE AND PROVIDE NEW TILE FLOORING.
