Scope of Work: P-912 MILCON project provides design, engineering, and construction for a 1,114.83 SM (12,000 SF) Operations Support Facility to support Naval Special Warfare Group 11 (NSWG11). P-912 Operations Support Facility is a 1-story building, organized with administration and operations for Naval Special Warfare Group 11. Roof access is provided via an enclosed stair for maintenance to the rooftop equipment. The roof has a mechanical room, screened mechanical equipment area, and roof-mounted photovoltaic panels per MILCON Option.

Vertical construction consists of shallow spread and continuous concrete foundations, concrete slab on grade, cast-in-place or precast concrete (tilt-up construction) walls, load-bearing steel columns, joists and beams, steel braced frames, and low-slope roofs of metal deck construction. Concrete Masonry Unit

(CMU) construction is permitted as vertical construction where used as backup construction, or where provided with a 3-coat stucco finish painted and constructed to match appearance of concrete tilt-up panel construction finish. The facility must be designed for photovoltaic systems on the roof which are included as a MILCON Option Item.

Paving and site improvements include excavation and grading, sidewalks and plazas, roadways, and electrical service. Utilities include underground electrical distribution, telecommunications, protected distribution system (PDS), gas, exterior lighting, domestic and fire protection water systems, and sanitary sewer system. The preparation of a storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) is required and best management practices (BMPs) during construction must be employed to reduce erosion at the site.
